Children in Need

Brantwood Girls had a very eventful day raising money for Children in Need.
They raised £765.00 with a variety of activities including paying to come in non-uniform, raffles and filling a large outline of Pudsey with coins. There were also badges, phone charms and home made Pudsey buns and chocolates for sale.
Their reward for all the hard work fundraising was a visit from Pudsey Bear himself who came with the Radio Sheffield Team to visit the school.
Staff and girls were entertained by girls in Year 10 who performed a special performance of ‘Rupert and his Seven wives’ written and directed by Nicole Foulkes in Year 10. The star of Sheffield Lyceum’s ‘Cinderella’ even came to watch the show.

Well done to all the girls who took part!!

Body Shop Evening

As part of their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award, Emma McCloskey and Alice Rawlinson organised a Body Shop Pamper evening and raised £295 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice Appeal. As well as Body Shop products, the girls organised a jewellery stall, a raffle and various other fundraising ideas.
