Year 10 and 11 Girls on their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Assessment Expedition
On the Saturday 20th October a group of Year 10 Brantwood girls completed their bronze assessment expedition. Their route was from Monsal Head to Elton Church and camped overnight at Haddon Grove Farm. The expedition was quite challenging due to the very cold weather.
On our route the scenery was quite spectacular and they took lots of photos which will be used to make displays at school.
Overall, they found the expedition fun but tiring and cold. It was a good experience, many of them are thinking of completing the Silver Award.
