Underbank
4 July 2007 – Year 7 and 9
After the recent downpours, the drizzle on the morning of July 4th looked ominous, but it couldn’t dampen the spirits of Year 7 & 9 who were about to set off for their visit to Underbank Outdoor activity Centre.
After the usual choruses of "are we here yet?” the girls arrived and got ready for their activities.
Their day was spent getting wet on and in the reservoir whilst kayaking and raft building, finding orienteering markers in a jungle of undergrowth, fearlessly attacking the high rope course through the tree tops and skilfully aiming arrows at targets and of course, getting covered in mud. Free face packs for all!
The midges and occasional showers could do nothing to stem the sense of fun and enjoyment. A good time was had by all.
