History
The main school is in the original Victorian house with later additions and is surrounded by attractive gardens and play areas.
Before moving to Nether Edge the school had occupied two other sites in the city. The first was in the north of Sheffield when it was called Hillsborough High School, then Beauchief Grammar School at Beauchief Hall relocating to its present site in 1970.
In 1982, South Yorkshire Independent Schools Trust took over the running
of the school. Since then the school has undertaken a number of major developments,
providing an Exhibition Hall and Library, specialist classrooms, a new Dining
Room and Kitchen facilities.
